How To Plant Beautiful Tulips

I've always thought Tulips were one of the most beautiful flowers so I wanted to use my blog to inform anyone interested on the "How-To's" of planting beautiful tulips!

Tulips are very forgiving plants, meaning that they are easy to plant and easy to maintain. They have been deemed "forgiving" because they can blossom in a broad range of light exposure. There are really only two things tulips cannot handle much of and that is a very soggy, wet ground and full, continuous shade. Tulips do not necessarily need rich soil to bloom, just about any dry ground will work, this is why even when there is no grass or any other type of plant life around tree roots, tulips still grow. To plant a tulip, all you have to do is dig a hole and place the bulb inside. However, their bloom can be richer and prettier if you follow some simple steps. You can find these steps on clicking on the link below. First let me give you a good tip that I found, sand helps if you are planting in clay, and moss helps if you are planting in wet grounds. Tulips plant prettiest in clusters, instead of rows.

Tulips also do very well as potted plants. Below is a video I found that gives us some tips and pointers on how to get the best bloom, while in a pot.

I understand that tulips are not for everyone ... but  these flowers are one of my most favorite. So if you share my love for these flowers, hopefully you will have found my blog interesting! I have posted a couple links below to get further information. Enjoy and happy tulip planting! :)
